Prestige Light Response Self-Adjusting Undereye Concealer -- not everything is expensive at the Beauty Bar

(a before picture from one of my demos on youtube)

smothered over my hand, sorry for the bad lighting.
there is a slight peach undertone in the shade i'm using which oatmeal.  i like using this on my under eye dark circles.

a possible turn off, the packaging.  the creamy concealer spurts out from the bottom of the brush tip in this pen tube type container.  but at PhP399 it's only slightly more expensive than the Etude House's and about the same price as Maybelline's.  but since i gave up on Maybelline facial products, if i were to keep another western brand as a go to, apart from Revlon, it would be Prestige Cosmetics.

from their website:

The "smart" concealer with spherical light refracting pigment that visually corrects minor skin imperfections and uneven skin tones

My experience:

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive under-eye concealer.  I was also looking for a concealer with just the right net content.  Most of the concealers in the market are for the whole face which includes hiding wrinkles, blemishes, and scars.  I merely mention that I have to buy make up that have about half the usual net weight content of the norm especially for concealers because I use very little of it and I was only going to  use it under my eye and on the inner corner where I have the darkest areas.

This Prestige light response self-adjusting undereye concealer   had me by its very name.  This pen brush tip only contains .05 fl oz or 1.4 ml, only half the content of usual concealers from maybelline and covergirl.  So it would be safe for me because I would be able to finish it before it dries up.  By its very name it's made for under eye darkness.  So, it "had me at hello!" LOL!   The tube is short and thin enough to be handy and does not take too much room in makeup bag.  The tube applicator ends in a brush pen so the first few times I used it I had to dab my finger on base of the brush where the product was squirting and used my pinky finger to apply the product  under my eye and the inner corner of my eyes.  But after several uses or turning of the bottom knob to push out the product, the brush is now fully covered with the product and I can now use the brush directly under my eyes.

Since it's my habit to put under eye cream I don't notice if this product is drying.  This particular concealer doesn't cake up with my olay eye transforming cream.  That was my one fear, because my olay eye transforming cream is rather unforgiving and cakes up even the lightest of pressed powder so I was pretty amazed that the rather thick consistency of this prestige light response concealer didn't cake up my under eye moisturizer and in fact settled it!

The product makes good on its claim of it being non-greasy.    It also lasts long, well, it lasts longer than my maybelline dream mousse foundation on my face.  It also makes good on its promise not to smudge off, and even keeps my eye moisturizer stay put.  This may mean that it might crepe up or look wrinkled, which could happen if you put too much of this prestige concealer.  In addition, don't add mineral make up as a concealer on top of this concealer, it cakes up, either that or I didn't wait for the prestige concealer to dry enough.  So if you're using mineral foundation and the mineral foundation is not enough to conceal under eye circles use this prestige cream concealer BUT JUST THAT.  No need to follow the BE video of putting the mineral concealer/foundation under and at the inner corners of the eyes.

This is one concealer I would buy again.  They have more than three shades of this product (they have six), too which is more than I can say about other brands of concealers.  It spreads evenly and dries quick enough but not too quick that it would make it difficult to spread it out.

It's cheap, does what it says, looks natural, and has what I need.

i'm not really a concealer person but then since my acne flared up & my blemishes are horrible, i know that the first thing that i need to buy is concealer. something that is fit to cover blemishes...

i will definitely be checking out mac studio sculpt but i think if i would need an undereye concealer then i would most likely consider this since this is cheaper.

true, neither was i, but changing sleep patterns, pollution of the day shift, make me need a good concealer and since i use it a lot, i need something that isn't to pricey because i would buy one many times a year. i like this bec it's creamy and very pigmented so good for both under eye and scars.
hahaha mahal ang mac
