First Dinner Date of the Year at Chelsea - pic heavy

Serendra Boni High Street was like packed last night. it was literally queuing in nearly every restaurant on the strip! so we ended up in an place where there was actually one table left, so it was Chelsea's.

Since it was just the two of us, we only had two dishes.
I was craving for pizza and so i ordered the all meat and it was served on really really as in really thin crust.

And a pic without the green.  the entire strip was packed, this place was no exception.  the waitresses and waiters looked like it was already december 2011.  it seemed like forever for our pizza to arrive.  so it was either hunger or anticipation but the all meat pizza WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT.
it was 10inches of delight....hahaha doesn't sound right.  the crust was so thin and light so you can keep on eating this without filling you up right away.  the sauce was just the right of tart and tangy flavor of tomatoes with a hint of sweetness.  and the meat on this thing.  the sausage the strips of beef and the pepperoni was just what i was craving for.  this hit the spot!

the seafood pasta.  that's right! "that's a huge"... shrimp...the waiter said they ran out of prawns so they just put in some really big shrimp. LOL.  there are several rings of squid and those not so puny mussels.  there was crab roe [aligue] in the sauce as well.  with all that sea food, it wasn't fishy at all.  the sauce wasn't sour, nor was it too sweet.  the crab roe made the sauce thick enough considering it should have really been watery.  the sauce was nice and only had a tinge of saltiness.

the root beer float.  it's root beer float with the exception of it having a really really awesome vanilla ice cream.

my decaff earl grey tea.  this pot was a replacement for the first pot that wasn't hot when it arrived and 30mins later of waiting it was by then, well, colder than the nippy chilly air we had last night.

so my second pot arrived and it was piping.  it was the right thing i needed to keep the cheese and all that salt from dinner at bay.  it may not be chinese red tea but it's tea to help keep a possible heart burn from ensuing.
tonight's look was simple but enough to walk around high street without looking too shabby. it was, after all, our yearly new year's date night.

ahhh here we are a very gratified couple on their way to being really sleepy because of all those carbs we just had.
