Lipstick of the Week: Laneige Snow Crystal Intense LR09 - Pink Fever

If some women love a particular brand, mine is a particular house of beauty, Amore Pacific.  So that includes Laneige and Etude House.  Hopefully, and soon i will have something from Hera, Sulwhasoo, IOPE, and Innisfree (though i've tried innisfree's jeju volcanic mask, and i really liked that!)
But on tonight's post, it's Laneige, my flavor of the quarter, all thanks to my not so great experience with Nyx matte lip products.
I've been jonesing for this shade since i saw it in hk, but i didn't get it since i had already swiped my card.  and unlike manila, and korea for that matter, the laneige stores in hk do NOT give out samples so i kept my laneige purchases in hk to a minimum.  and i waited a bit and bought this wonderful pink here in manila, where it's actually only a couple of hundred pesos more expensive vs the price in hk, and of course, i get to continue my rapport with my laneige girls as i do with all the ladies with the other korean stores i frequent.  it just makes the entire shopping experience more positive and the ladies remember to text you when your fave product arrives AND even more samples.  but on with the lipstick of the week.
Below is the ingredient list.
and what i saw in hk that i knew i had to have!  a very warm yet very rosey kind of pink.
it's as warm on the lips as you see below in the swatch in this pic as in real life.
it's a semi matte finish, but like all of my Laneige lippies, this is my restorative lipstick.
i've been getting compliments either online when people read my blog and some of the ladies at the office.  i knew then i had to share this wonderful lipstick with you all.
i love this shade.  it's warm and berry enough for day but deep enough that it can be worn at night.
like all my laneige lippies i love how they are

  • very pigmented and takes just one to one and half swipe for full coverage
  • not drying at all, in fact it fixes my lips when they're chapped
  • not waxy
  • doesn't bleed out my lip line (so no need for a lip liner)
  • lasts all day even after a meal, you need an oil based lip and eye makeup remover to remove the snow crystal intense lippies
  • doesn't kiss off  too much, it's a semi matte so there isn't much oil to wipe off on your jowa's cheeks (on the face)
  • no weird taste
  • no white line that forms after a while or after retouch (reapplication on top of the first layer)
  • nice packaging with the cover topping the entire bullet
  • locally available and is actually slightly cheaper in manila than in other countries like hk and specially sg [mas mura naman hk pero ayun, pupunta ka pa ng hk para maka mura ng 300 pesos tapos wala pang freebies, eh dito bonga nga maka freebies ang laneige philippines]
ahhhmmm none i guess, it's a tad high end so i really can't complain how their marketing decides Laneige's prices.
do i recommend: of course!  it's cheaper than mac (here in manila, ang mac, php1000, ang laneige may 850, my 950, this one is 950)
will i repurchase: yep most likely a different shade, i will repurchase LMAO
