PRODUCT FEATURE: LANEIGE IN BLOOM SPRING 2012 LIMITED EDITION PALETTE - once you go L you can never go back

This is actually my second eye shadow palette from Laneige.  I have their 2011 Christmas Limited Ed eye shadow trio, too.
to be honest the packaging, the packaging, the packaging, and of course the allure of 'limited edition' influenced me to buy this.
ingredients are below, please click on the pictures to enlarge it.
i used this palette in one of my videos for Valentine's
and behold the spring / summer eye shadows. with liner shades.
the compact has a big mirror.
a non-flimsy plastic protector
an animal hair eye shadow brush
that's pretty fluffy and good for an all over eye shadow blending
and a really good sponge tip applicator
that has a pointed tip for the liner shades.
please click on the pic below to enlarge it.  the picture below has a primer underneath each shade.
a better view of how the shades can give off a satin luminosity
and below are swatches of the shades without a primer underneath each shade.  so needless to say, you'd need a primer on your eye lids to bring out the wonderful shades, prevent fall out from the liner shades, and to avoid blotchy patchy application of the shades.
Likes:
  • the pastel shades! aren't they cute yet really wearable?
  • the bottom middle kinda copper red shade is just toooooo die for such a wonderful satiny luminescence that i love love love
  • it's a complete deal, you have a mirror, 2 types of applicators, different shades for day or night and a big mirror - this is great for travel!
  • the packaging is just cute cute cute!
  • no weird scent
  • not much fall out specially when you use a primer on your lids first
  • when the powder does get in to my eye, it doesn't make my eye red or hurt my eyes
  • no harsh reaction by my skin on my eye lids
  • the packaging apart from being cute is NOT flimsy and the design is something not easily scratched off
  • Laneige is available in the Philippines where Laneige branches can be found (sm moa, trinoma, robinson's place manila, shangri la mall, robinson's galeria)
Dislikes:

  • you need a primer for the shades not to be powdery, to avoid fall out (by the liner shades) and for the shades to stay on your lids (fading does happen even from the darker liner shades)
  • SRP in the Philippines is almost double what it is from my suki
I guess i'm not that sad that this is a limited ed palette.  I think for the price and the target market of Laneige, they could do better in providing us with better eye shadows...(which they do, i like my Christmas 2011 eye shadow trio from Laneige)
But once you go Lunasol, one can become really really picky about eye shadows.
