REVIEW: ETUDE HOUSE DEAR MY BLOOMING PACT

Disclaimer:
This is part of the press kit given to me by Etude House recently.  Though, they didn't pay me to review their product.  and no, etude house philippines didn't come up with the DEAR MY Blooming pact name hehehe
This is actually a shade darker that i would normally wear. and it took me awhile thinking about it if i wanted to review this.  but eventually i did.
a note in hangul from etude house for our lovely young ladies.
and the box has the labeling to make it easier for our really friendly etude house
Etude house is now coming out with darker (well darker than my skin shade) shades for their face products. as seen below the shade given me is W13 which Etude House Ph did say is one of their darker shades.
the packaging.  the attention to detail.  as shown below with the ribbon that you press down to open the compact.
and the back/bottom.  see that little hole? that's what you poke with an unraveled paper clip to pop out the used and empty pan.  yep, this is refillable.
and the puff that comes with this dear my blooming pact.  see the lace? hehehe sexy or cute it's nice and pink.
and i do love these puffs that they provide.  it really does provide for a soft and veiled application of the product without it going patchy blotchy!
the printing on the powder.  hehehe looks like Cinderella's carriage huh?
last holiday season's compact...the one i can compare to mac's msf LOL
the DEAR MY is slightly bigger, has no separator for the puff
and does not have a high lighter
provides light coverage.  as you can see, you can still see my green vein on the back of my hand
and my swatch, it is only very slightly darker than my skin.  so i can wear this anyway.
i use this to set my very light foundation. so it works out perfectly.
Likes:

  • something like this that is refillable is worth at PhP578
  • has a darker shade
  • available in the Philippines
  • very light scent
  • affects my foundation the way i like it which is to darken it a bit
  • sets my foundation or bb cream well
  • covers my obvious pores well
  • sets my under eye concealer well
  • does not cake up
  • does not crepe up the concealer under my eye
  • does not further oxidation
  • did not break me out, no new zits, no new millia, no new black or white heads
  • really cute packaging
  • matte finish
  • has spf of 30 and pa of +++
Neutral:
  • so so oil control
Dislikes:
  • does not have a separate compartment for the powder puff
Do I recommend: yes, definitely, i would recommend this to any of our high school girls over baby powder on their faces to avoid the espasol look
Will I repurchase: yes, the refill, i will!

I like it! Might try this when I finish one of my powder foundations. Trying to finish most of them before buying new ones. Anyway, thanks for the review! ♥
