This is the second item that Korea Cosmetics sent me. their website is here.  Because of the name of the item, i was holding off using this until the weather got colder or taaadaaah i went to a country with a much dryer and colder climate, which was our visit to Seoul two weeks ago!
but look the packaging also says:
"Intensive reparative ingredients calm down irritated, red skin and restore post-operative, recently lasered skin"
My sincerest apologies to my readers specially the ones that read my blog - y'all know who you are, some of the graduates of PLM-OM batch 2003.  I did not research the four ingredients that are in the product. the ingredients are quite new and i have not found any empirical evidence to show that Poly glutamic acid (γ-PGA) and E.G.F. (Epidermal Growth Factor) also named Human Oligopeptide-1, the top two ingredients in this product, really do work.
my review, however will be on the basis on what had happened to my skin while i was in a dry and very cool climate/weather that was Seoul in the fall/autumn season, the second week of October.
i did however is to post the top two ingredients and not any efficacy on any human trials or otherwise.
"Poly glutamic acid (γ-PGA) is a novel molecule that is a component of the mucilage of the fermented soybean food product commonly found in Japan called natto. The International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient (INCI) name of γ-PGA is natto gum and it is classified as a film-forming agent. Gamma PGA is a remarkably potent hydrating compound that represents a major breakthrough in the science of skincare. It is ten times more hydrating than Hyaluronic acid and far more elastic than collagen. In Asia, Gamma PGA is commonly recognized for its specific skin care benefits. It is 100% natural, bio degradable and non-toxic. In fact, it is even edible. Originally discovered in marine jellyfish, Gamma PGA, also known as Natto Gum, Plant/Phyto Collagen or Gamma Poly Glutamic Acid, is derived from NATTO, a Japanese soybean-based health food item dating back more than 1000 years."

E.G.F. (Epidermal Growth Factor) also named Human Oligopeptide-1
"When use after Professional Re-Surfacing Skin Treatment - While doing skin re-surfacing treatments such as chemical peel and microdermabrasion, the skin is being exfoliated and redness may appear after words. Palacia E.G.F. Gel is a self-healing product that is designed to heal and calm the skin , shorten the down-time and provide the best results of professional treatments.
When use with Ultrasound or other beauty devices - Ultrasound waves do not conduct well through air. They need a medium (such as liquid/gel) to produce an effect. For product penetration, if the active ingredients you are using dries quickly or produces friction between the blade and skin, you might not get the all the benefits of the above effects due to a shortened treatment time. The best thing to do is after applying the active ingredients to the skin, add a bit of conductive gel to the skin surface and proceed with the treatment. But if the product you are using already comes in a gel-form, you do not need to use a conductive gel. The most important thing to remember is that ultrasound waves needs a conductive medium through which to travel through."

the next ingredient is a paraben, so something to increase the shelf life of the item to at least more than six months. while the last one is a sort of alcohol.

from the intomedi website
Step 1.
After facial wash, apply a 3ml of 'INTOMEDI Pure Oxy Bubble Transformer' over entire face.
Step 2.
Rub gently in circular motions, producing fresh oxygen at the same time, bursting shield of cerasome that is formulated with nano-technology.
Step 3.
Take a relax for 5-10 minutes while oxygen rich particles penetrate deep into the epidermis.
Step 4.
Wash off or cleanse with wet tissues.
Step 5.
Apply a 1ml of 'INTOMEDI Deep Moisture Calmer' over entire face and massage gently until it is fully absorbed.

This is supposed to be for people who just had laser surgery or micro abrasion done but i used it since i went to a country that i thought would be very cold and dry.

My experience:
I really like the packaging, great for travel, it's convenient and hygienic.  It kinda smells plastic-y but it's not overwhelming nor does that smell last.  it goes away after a few minutes. and while i was in Seoul, that amount of product on the back of my hand (scroll up for the picture) was enough to cover my entire face.  my skin absorbed the product really quickly so i wasn't a grease ball spreading product on my hotel pillow and i didn't wake up looking like a grease ball either.  BUT i was still very much moisturized and hydrated even after a night's cool breeze with the hotel window open.  i used the product twice a day, at night time and before going out in the morning.

  • packaging - super convenient and it was sealed for protection
  • product delivery - an upside down tube with a very tapered tip for just the right amount of product to come out of tube.
  • no fragrance - just the scent of the ingredients itself
  • VERY FEW ingredients, no dimethicones, just the top two ingredients that making the rounds in skin care and are quite promising
  • very hydrating / moisturizing
  • i didn't wake up looking like a grease ball
  • i didn't end up looking like a grease ball through out the day either.  the hubby and i kept walking and going around the city and i didn't get much chance to blot off any oils from my t-zone but when i do, the oils would just be minimal.
  • it didn't break me out and i had no harsh reaction from the product
  • i just scratched myself really bad (but not bad enough to scrape skin) so i used it on my scratched up skin, and that part of my skin is now much soothed.
  • very hard to research, i guess it's why bloggers were sent this so more people would know about it more
finding the price is difficult but do search out for this product at: KoreaCosmetics' site to find out more
Do I recommend: yes, definitely it's a very good moisturizer, and if the two new ingredients making the waves in the skin care industry really work then all the better this product is!
