I'm finally back, yet again.  I'm sorry i've been away.  i've been distracted lately and this hobby had to take a back seat while i had to sort things out and accept a few things.  But that doesn't mean i didn't wear makeup that whole time.
If some of you remember and follow me on instagram, then you may have seen me post a pic that i visited the newly opened branch of Innisfree at BHG near the Bugis Station at Singapore.  This was the latest product at the time.  The Innisfree Long Wear Cushion.
You know I love these things because of their compact nature and ease of transportability.  So since it's new and I like reviewing these, I thought to give it a go.
I was advised by the sales agent to get shade 21 and I think she was right.
The benefits and product description is around the box
What I like about Innisfree is that they try to be ecofriendly
Product description in English is below, thank you, Singapore

Ingredients are in English and you can tell that the sticker was just done for the English reading population like the folks in Singapore
It looks like your normal cushion products
with a lid to cover the bare cushion
and as you can see, it is a foundation.
 that blends out well.
and me wearing this for about a month, looking really natural on me, too.
 even with the flash on.
 even on my unnatural face.
And it kinda matches the skin on my neck and chest, too.
There are two versions of this, a shining shimmering one and this long wear one.  Well, now I'm thinking I wish bought the other one [the dewy one] instead.
  • matte but not flat
  • medium to full coverage
  • spf 50 pa +++
  • good oil control, on a scale of 1-5 [1=hardly any oil control 5=hardly needing any blotting off of your nose and forehead] this is about a 3.5/5
  • not too reflective on flash photography
  • very natural looking on camera [without the flash on]
  • very natural looking in real life - meaning i don't look too made up when I wear this, yet i don't look like the zombie i look like when i woke up that morning
  • smells ok, i can hardly smell the scent, but innisfree is from the same company as Laneige and Etude House, so I'm pretty ok with the scents they use
  • not difficult to remove at the end of the day
  • IS actually long wearing, i haven't tried it if it is as long wearing as Revlon Colorstay, now that muhthah stays a verrrrryyyy looong time
  • doesn't melt off and go to the rims of my glasses
  • in a cushion's usual travel friendly compact
  • has the usual really nice rubber sponge applicator that comes along these cushion products
  • it emphasizes my flaky dry spots
  • gave me small zits on my forehead
  • not refillable unlike its Laneige and Etude House sisters
  • not available in the Philippines yet
  • If you have a really oily face this is the foundation for you.   i really would've appreciated this product 6 years ago when I was just starting out lol.  but now that my taste in face product and skin type is changing a really matte finish like this is not for me BUT IS for most pinays
  • most pinays want a matte finish because they think dewy is oily, oh well, kanya kanya, as in kanya kanyang exposure lang yan sa ibang kultura at uso-uso so yes, this one will work for most pinays.
Final word:
Ate Marge, nakaka rami ka na ng cushion products - honga kids, medyo nga.  I just want to say that just like any foundation / bb / cc cream - these no two cushions are exactly alike.  there's the really dewy one like the most recent one [previous to this review] i reviewed from the face shop.  there's the face base any cushion ones that didn't do anything for my skin except break me out - the peach one.  there's the clio one which is the most similar to my beloved.  and my beloved [the 2011 formula].  There will be cushions like this one that's really matte, there's the clio one that isn't completely matte buthas a satin finish.  And there's my beloved who has a more dewy but not oily looking finish.  So this competition of the cushion products is just much the same as any other foundation competition in terms of finish and effect on the skin.  So like any other face product, it's a trial and error to find out what works for you ;-)
